Hello,

Basically I would like to know how to build the table with the columns provided by the JIRA macro, using a query that is not giving values.

This is a issue because as the macro doesnt have content I have the message from table transformer "the query returned no rows"

Hi @Matias G Labrana ,

If you are talking about the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app and its Table Transformer macro and the issue is that this message confuses your users, you may customize it as you wish.

Navigate to the Messages tab of the macro and enable the following options:

  • No table found - you can get this message if there is no any tabular data inside your macro
  • No results - you can get this message if the query returned no rows

So, you may type in smth more informative. For example, that "There are no any issues with the XXX status in the YYY project" or smth.

Hello, but I think my message is clear,

Imagine you have a query in JIRA that doesnt have issues to show at the moment, but in the future will start to appear (2025 issues for example).
At the moment this query doesnt show any content and as the pictures are showing, the JIRA macro displays the columns Key, Summary, Status and Story Points.

In table transformer, when I dont have content coming from my query on JIRA, shows me the message of no rows to show, but independent of that I want to see the way to show the columns coming from JIRA with no content. so I have something to showm. In 2025 when will start to appear the issues, the table will start to have the content.

Seems that I'm talking about the same situation here: you have the Jira Issues macro with some JQL. If you have any suitable data, then you have a table. If you don't have any related issues, then you have a message from Jira that there are no any results.

The Table Transformer macro gets the data coming from Jira and shows a transformed table or its own message that there are no results to show. If this message confuses your users, you can customize it as you wish - "Attention! No issues till 2025!"

The customized message is not permanent, once the issues are present, you'll see your transformed table.
