Subject line of outgoing emails

How can you change the subject line of emails going to space watchers? We got feedback from the watchers that they don't want to see "[confluence]" as part of the subject line. Is this something that we can ask our Confluence administrator to do for a specific space? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Cristina!

You can remove the [confluence], usually this is on this page here: http://localhost:8090/admin/mail/createsmtpmailserver.action it has that tag on Subject Prefix, you can still customize it further here:

Please take in mind that the Subject Prefix cannot be null, so you need to add some value into it.


This worked, thank you. I should mention that once you make this change, it is global.
