Sidebar collapses by default Edited

Confluence Server 6.0 browser IE11

I found something re zero width setting in sidebar settings on the server?

Entering a new page always has the sidebar minimised by default.

Previously was OK (99% of our pages have a sidebar)

IE11: Logging in as another user sidebar OK, logging in using 'In private browsing' OK

Chrome OK

Hi Andy, as it looks like this is only happening for your user, please perform these actions:

  1. Clear cache and cookies
  2. Make sure you're not useing Documentatio theme (it was deprecated some time ago and we sent a note about it)
  3. Disable customizations

If after that your sidebar is still collapsed by default, send us a screenshot so we can see exactly how it looks for you.

Thanks Ana

Clearing cookies/javascript.  I'm a bit of a dill, they have changed the logic in IE11 you now have to untick the option to clear cookies and tick everything else (apart from passwords) to clear them

Not very intuitive maybe, but I'm glad you figured that out!

Have a nice day :)
