Security Patch 7.19.21 rendered Confluence Server UNUSABLE

Adriane Hunt April 24, 2024

We upgraded Confluence Server from 7.19.19 to 7.19.21. After the upgrade we got the attached error message about our license being expired. Is there any way to apply this patch even though support for Confluence server has ended? If not, will rolling back to 7.19.19 fix the issue?

Question: Why would Atlassian promote and allow the applying a security patch that deliberately renders the entire system unusable?

Hi @Adriane Hunt ,

It seems 7.19.21 was indeed released on 02 April 2024. As Server support was ended on 14/02/2024 you'll no longer be entitled to any support or releases after 14/02/2024.

If you need a release after this date you'll need a Datacenter license to be able to install the update.
