Restricting Users to setup personal homepages

Dominique Rada October 18, 2017

Hi,

We want to restrict External users from setting up their own homepages through their profile. How do we do this? We are using Confluence 10.5 Server.

Currently we have legal disclaimer message on our Global Homepage which all users go through after they login. But each user can at the moment change their hompage through their profile settings. How can we prevent this from happening?

We have set users into internal groups and external groups. Can this be done at a Group permission level? or can it be done at an individual level?

Thanks

You bet, you can remove the right for them to do it via Admin -> Security -> Global permissions and restrict "personal space" to the users/groups you select.

Preventing people seeing an existing personal space is up to the actual space permissions though.
