Removing users from confluence/Jira

Alex Phipps June 30, 2021

I'm new to confluence so my experience is limited, I have had a request from a colleague for a few people to be removed from confluence/Jira due to them leaving the project - how do I do this?

Also is there any danger of losing the pages they have created?

Thanks

Hi @Alex Phipps

User with Jira admin privileges can manage the users (add/remove ) from Jira/Confluence.

When an account is deactivated or deleted, the user will immediately lose access to Jira/Confluence .

Refer the below document for the detail

Thank you, by removing them will it remove any pages they may have created on confluence?

No, It will not effect. Spaces and pages will stay active and you can add new users to the permissions for that Space
