Protect confluence spaces with extra features

Hello,

we use a 2FA addon and tried to limit 2FA on space level but unfortuantely this is not possible. Is there anything we can do above simple confluence permissions to protect confluence on space level? This could be with 2FA other addons or even with networking tricks which Im not really aware of (IP filtering or smth if it is possible on space level?).

The use case would be not to protect the whole confluence but single spaces only.

Can you tell us your more about your use case? Why is an extra authentication level for some spaces needed and how do space permissions are handled in these spaces?
