Dear All,
I used popular content macro to list popular items.
Unfortunately I cannot make it work for attachments.
Is there a way to tweak the macro or is tthere a plugin for it?
Cheers,
Selcuk
you can do it but not embedded in a confluence page, at least not that I know of. What you can do is to take use Google Analytics (see David Simpson's article), make a slighth tweak for the attachment downloads (instructions here from Networked Collaboration) and you can see the downloads in your analytics report.
You could always write a plugin to pick up AttachmentViewEvents

Oh, and Andrew from Networked Collaboration basically says all this in another question ;-)

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the google analytics tips.
I implemented the code and I'll be checking next week as our website has very low traffic at the moment.
I am not that technical to write a plugin. I rather to use already created ones.
I wish to vote for the feature request but I don't have a login yet.
I added this one to my list.
Thanks
Selcuk
