Hi,

We're using Confluence 8.5.18, and I've noticed an issue with the "Unpublished Changes" banner. Even when we open a page just to copy text (without making any edits), the banner appears. To resolve this, we have to revert to the last saved version each time, which is both time-consuming and frustrating.

If there's a solution to fix this, could you please let me know? Thank you!

Hi @Maria Buryanina welcome to the community.  I found CONFSERVER-60725 out on Atlassian's Jira Site.  It sounds a lot like the issue that you have.  Check it out, and if that is the issue you are having, you can vote for and watch it for future updates.

There is a list of things that seem to cause this behavior to happen,

If that isn't the case, and it's something that you can regularly reproduce you could contact Atlassian Support and see if they are aware of it.  They might request you update to the latest software and verify that it's still an issue there.  It also might be beneficial to try it in a few different browsers, to eliminate that as a cause.

Hope that helps.
