Only allow predefined entries into tables

Fynn K February 22, 2015

Hello,
I would like to know if there is any plugin/macro/whatever that helps me to only allow predefined entries into tables.

For example:
I have got a table with 3 columns (Name, task, priority)
Whenever an user adds a row, he can enter any text he wants into every column, but i want to limit the possible entries for the column "priority" to "High", "Normal" and "Low", maybe with a drop down list, is that possible somehow?

Hi Fynn,

I believe this is not possible using Confluence embedded functionalities. To achieve that, you can try to develop a plugin that provides a constraint for the content inside a table.

I couldn't find if there is a plugin that provides this constraint in my search, but it may exist already. I'll leave this question open so others can contribute as well.

Cheers,

Rodrigo
