Notification on ticket when linked dependency is updated

We have tickets ABC "blocked by" another program team DEF in the company.

Is there a way for the linked blocker DEF ticket to trigger a notification to ABC that the linked dependency issue has been updated?

How do folks normally track dependency progress relating to yours?

Hello @Bea Tea

What you could do is configure an automation rule in your project to send an email. For your automation rule, you can use the following:

You may want to use a different trigger (i.e. issue transitioned to "Done" or something similar) and you may want to use a different action (e.g. adding a comment to the ABC issue or sending an email to the reporter on ABC) but this should help.
