Migration from page approval plugin to comala document management

Hi,

I am working on a migration strategy to migrate the pages using the page approval plugin to the Comala document management.

So can you assist a automated approach to achieve this migration.

Hi @Harshith Sirigi 

I suggest that you contact Appfire (Comala) to advice you on the strategy, perhaps they know how to automate the migration.

If there's no automation/migration tool, I'd do the following.

1. Try to get as man pages to the same approval stage in your current app.
2. Get the report from your current workflow app indicating pages and their individual stages.
3. Remove the old app.
4. Install Comala app and create the desired workflow.
5. Initialize the workflow stage/status that's the most common.
6. Based on the report from your old app, apply the desired statuses to the remaining pages.

Don't forget to test this this in non-production environment (A small scale mockup space will do).
