@Mentions and User Search not working in Confluence v5.9.2

elizabethhannaford January 12, 2016

@ mention is not working since we upgraded. The drop down wont return any results. To replicate try typing '@John' which should show a drop down which includes John Burrows. I get no results.

Hello Elizabeth,

Please try to rebuild search index

  1. Choose the cog icon, then choose General Configuration under Confluence Administration
  2. Choose 'Content Indexing' under the heading 'Administration' in the left-hand panel.
  3. Click on Rebuild button

OR

If first resolution doesn't work, please rebuild the content indexes from scratch.

Delete the following folders from the home directory if they exist:

  • <confluence-home>/index/
  • <confluence-home>/journal/ (if exists)
  • Restart Confluence, and perform a Content Index Administration (Above three steps)
