Mail-Page (add-on) not saving settings within admin area.

Nick Williams April 3, 2024

How can we fully remove/uninstall a Confluence add-on?

We use the Mail Page add-on to send out page emails. After disable/re-enabling it during an update, the Mail Page settings within the admin area of Confluence, will no longer save changes. It appears to save when we click save, but it just reloads the page to old settings.

I tried removing/re-installing through the confluence admin area, but it retains the old permissions on re-install, which makes me think it's not fully uninstalling, and maybe the reason the reinstall doesn't fix the problem above.

I've reached out to the developer, but it's been a few weeks of no reply, so I was trying to troubleshoot it.

@Nick Williams I would suggest clearing Confluence app cache https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-clear-confluence-plugins-cache-297664846.html and see if that fixes the issue.
