Log page load with macros "table filter "

Hi!

I have a page with table include macros "table filter" .

Table has cells with link.

Сan the page take a long time to load due to such links? Or could there be other reasons for the slow loading of the page?

The Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app is our add-on and, as usual, its macros don't interfere the page load time.

Please clarify what exactly do you want to achieve with the app? You've mentioned that your page has a "table include macros "table filter" and shown us an example of the link - as I understand, the link is a filter URL that you use to simplify work for your colleagues. For example, you may have a simple 5-row table with the description of the view and the corresponding link.

But where is the original big table (that you filter) placed? On the same page? How many columns/rows does it have? 

Does the page load well if you remove our macros?

If you don't update the source table very often, then you may use the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros with the Output cached results option checked.

Place the source table wrapped in the Table Excerpt macro on the page 1 and reuse it several times with the help of the Table Excerpt Include macro on the page 2 (then you may filter or create pivots based on the reused tables and make a kind of a dashboard).

With the Output cached results option the Excerpts will be collected once and your page 2 will be loading faster with the help of the saved cache. The trigger to update the cache is to go to the page 1 (view it or publish the updates).

Without this option the cache is not preserved and the Excerpts are pulled every time you refresh the page no matter if there were any updates to the source table or no.

Then you have an old version of the app - the current one is 7.9.28, please, update.

The feature was already present in the 7.2 version of the app and you may miss other new features such as collecting page metadata vie the Table Excerpt Include macro and, for example, dependencies for the Gantt Chart.

Can filter-links hard load my table in page?

We haven't encountered such issue before - this is one of the standard cases for our customers. They often create several links (or buttons with links) to various filter views of the source table.

You may raise a support request and attach your page storage format (upper right corner -> menu ... -> View Storage Format). We'll recreate the page and look closer into the issue with your real data on the Confluence 6.15.7.

But the first advice will still be to update the app to the current version.
