Is there any way to use interactive jupyter notebooks with Jupyter/IPython Viewer for Confluence?

Javanaut May 24, 2020

Is there any viable route to display non-static jupyter notebooks in confluence server with Jupyter/IPython Viewer for Confluence addon as shown here (with nbviewer)?

https://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/bokeh/bokeh-notebooks/blob/master/tutorial/06%20-%20Linking%20and%20Interactions.ipynb

Setting up a notebook server either on client or server side is no problem.

Greetings

Are you talking about the Jupyter Viewer for Confluence app?

What do you exactly mean by 'interactive' elements? The graphs on the example?

In the example, these graphs are produced by embedded JavaScript. This is currently not supported by Jupyter Viewer for Confluence. We are thinking about adding some kind of Javascript support. However, running JavaScript adds a big security risk, so we are carefully evaluating if we want to support it.

I suggest to maybe add a comment to this feature request or send us a support request with your case. So that we can consider it when thinking about supporting this.
