We're using Confluence to hold official versions of ITSM documents. Some are just too big and unwieldy to enter as Confluence docs, and so are kept in their original MS Word or MS Excel format.
We'd like to have the Confluence checkin process update the doc with the revision number.
Is there a macro that Confluence can see/replace that we can place within the MS Office doc?
Is there another best practice in this area that will automatically markup the MS Office doc on checkin/out?
@snicholson_sgt-inc_com I am not aware of any app that provides this functionality and I was not able to find any in the marketplace.
