Is it possible to manage users and groups in Confluence without having administrator permissions?

Hi,

I wonder if there is any way to manage users and groups in Confluence without selecting Confluence Administrator or System Administrator privileges in the global permission settings.

Thank you.

Hi @yj_seong ,

If your users and groups are not hosted in Confluence (Confluence's internal directory), it is possible to maintain them in a third-party system, such as Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP directory, etc.

In this case, you do not need to have the Confluence Administrator role.

Hi @yj_seong ,

Welcome to the Community!

To manage the users and groups in confluence you need the confluence administrator privileges without that it is not possible. Also you can refer to this documentation for more information on the global permissions.
