Is it possible to find/replace labels to substitute a newly desired word for an existing one that comes to be inadequate?

I need to establish a controlled vocabulary that will be tested in use by the user community. Some terms may have to be merged, and others may have to be split into more specific ones. When that happens, what s the procedure to keep the vocabulary live and useful?

Hello Sergio,

You may want to update the database in order to do that. Please note to always perform a backup before attempting any change in the database.

There are 2 tables which stores labels.

LABEL and CONTENT_LABEL. You may want to update the label in those tables and restart Confluence. It should change the label name inside the application.
