Is it possible to drag and drop emails from MS Outlook directly into a space / page?

We are evaluating Confluence and not sure if this is the right forum to ask:

  1. Drag and drop emails into page or space? In our work cycle we would like to be able to drop emails from MS Outlook onto a page or space where the email then gets stored and becomes viewable / searchable.
    1. Drag directly from Outlook and drop on Confluence: we realize files can readily be dragged from the desktop to Confluence. But we looking for a solution where dragging can be initiated from within Outllook folders and the email message be dropped directly on a Confluence space og page.
    2. Clickable listivew : we need to see emails in a list (plugin / macro?), like when you look into a generic email programme. The email attachments should preferably also be searchable.
  2. email association with a certain page? It would be elegant, when need be, that emails could be associated with a page alone and not just to a space.

We do realize, it is entirely possible to drag and drop a file which could be a MS Outlook message file but this only stores as an (unsearchable?) attachment.

Hi, you can achieve the functionality of searchable emails, unfortunately not out-of-the-box. If your emails are attached to confluence pages (drag and drop), it can be added to the search index via a additional plugin. This must contain an specialized extractor which can read the email content.

But with this, the emails not shown directly in the page.

Hope this helps to to take a step forward!
