My company uses confluence version 6.6.13.
Some of my coworkers asked me (the IT-Services Team) if it is possible to disable the "follow" function?
The coworkers don't want to be "stalked" by this feature of confluence.
Best wishes
Marcel
Hi Marcel and Welcome,
for now it is not possible to disable this features throught the UI.
Some workarounds has been published on CONFSERVER-16032
Best Regards
What do you mean by workarounds.. That would mean that it is possible?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I mean that it is possible if you directly modify some files as suggested in the linked CONFSERVER-16032 ticket. But is not a recommended approach.

You are welcome :)
Did my initial answer solve your problem?
If so, consider to mark the proposed solution as an 'Accepted answer'. This will help other people with the same or a quite similar problem to find a solution in a easy and faster way.
In addition, by doing this the post will automatically gain the "Solved:" prefix in search results to indicate other people that no further support is needed.
Kind Regards.
