I'm new to Confluence. I wonder if it's possible for me to create a request submission system as follows:
1- The landing page is a routing page. Based on answers to the routing questionnaire, the request information is routed to the appropriate department for consideration.
2- I'm thinking the request might show up as a new page under the department's master page, but perhaps there's a better way to do this.
3- Some kind of approval workflow is needed if request needs to be escalated for consideration or bounced back to the requestor for clarification.
Confluence doesn't have this ability, but what you are describing is very close to Jira Service Desk. Have you had a look at that before?
With Jira Service Desk, you can create a Customer Portal that you're able to separate requests under simple categories, then your users can submit the requests this way.
