Instructions for customizing the search box in the header?

Question

I'm looking for instructions online on how to add some default text "Search all spaces in this wiki" to the default search box in the header bar. I've searched but cannot find what I'm looking for.

I've customized our LiveSearch boxes "Search only THIS wiki" but would also like to customize the top level one, to avoid user confusion.

I'm a space admin but want to pass this along to our top-level wiki admins. Thank you!
