Information missing when exporting PDF in Confluence

Yousaf January 24, 2018

Hello,

when I export a page in Confluence with the PDF exporter, some parts go missing.

These parts only appear when editing the page. They dont even show up in the normal page while viewing.

What could be the problem? Something to do with the macros or html/CSS?

Thanks in advance ;-)

Hi Yousaf,

Can you somehow further describe what type of content is missing? Is it a specific macro you're using on the page?

If it's macro content, it might be that the exporter does not have access to the data displayed in the macro, if it's loaded dynamically but not written into the storage format of the actual page?

Best,
Nils

Hello Nils,

here´s an example:

in the index there are 4 things written:

- Intro

- Part A

- Part B

- Part C

But in the actual document there is only Intro, Part A and Part B. Part C does not show. And when I edit the page, Part C does appear just normal.

Now when I export this page, everything is exported.

I´m using normal macros like index and landscape macro for the wide pages.

Thanks
