I would like to create a list of documents that change order when updated to latest first?

Peter Kirby December 6, 2017

Within a specific section of a space I would like to be able to sort files automatically when updated the most updated file being on top of the front page of the area. I don't want to include all the pages in the Space just ones from certain pages. How can I do this?

Peter,

Are you looking to create a list of documents (i.e. attachments to pages in Confluence) or Confluence pages, specifically?

The Recently Updated Macro would be able to list recently updated pages, and you can even limit to a specific space or a specific label. That is, you could label just the pages that you want to display in this macro.

The Attachments Macro, in turn, would display a list of attachments. You can sort these by date uploaded, and it also uses labels, so you could limit the displayed documents by label.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Shannon
