I have an error in atlassian-confluence.log

I see many errors in atlassian-confluence.log

confluence version 5.9.10

FreeIPA Server it is ldap server marked as read only in directories


Caused by: com.atlassian.crowd.exception.ApplicationPermissionException:

Cannot update user 'denis' because directory 'FreeIPA Server' does not allow updates.

at com.atlassian.crowd.manager.application.ApplicationServiceGeneric.updateUser(

ApplicationServiceGeneric.java:656)
at com.atlassian.crowd.embedded.core.CrowdServiceImpl.updateUser(CrowdServiceImpl.java:317)

Hello!

Do you have your LDAP configuration set to be read-only with local groups?  Specifically, check out this documentation:

Unable to Add Users into a Group Due to Lack of Permission

I assume that you're seeing this error because you're attempting to move/add users to groups, correct?

No. LDAP configured as just read-only.

We don't manage groups in confluence.

We don't have problems with moving / adding. Only problems tons of errors in log.
