How to update only a single section of my confluence page

I have two sections in my page , and i have to update only one section through a script , so how can mention in my script to update that particular section ?

Hi Aneesh,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. I think it's not possible to separate the page in two pieces and edit them.

To edit pages, I believe that you can use Confluence API.

I've also found a interesting page which talks about editing pages through API.

Thanks for your reply Rodrigo , as you confirmed that it's not possible to separate the page in two pieces and edit them , i will try to put two html tags(like start-tag and end-tag) in the page and try to put my data between those two tags .

You could create 2 separate pages for the sections and combined the 2 pages into 1 by using the page include macro.
