How to make the confluence attachment list displaying as default?

wendy shen June 5, 2013

When the user go to a page, all attachments of this page are invisible, which only an attachment number is displayed. If the user needs to dowload an attchment or view an attachment, he has to click the attachment clip icon, then all attachments will be displayed as a list on the page. So my question is how to make those attachments to display in a list on page as default? Thanks!

Hi Wendy,

There is an answer to it. Before that, may I know which Confluence version that you are using? Starting from Confluence 4.3, there is a new feature where you can display a list of attachments in your page.

Reference - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF43/Displaying+a+List+of+Attachments

If you are using Confluence 5.x version, this is the latest documentation that you can refer:

Cheers,

Joachim
