How to make table wider rather than taller

When I have a table with many columns in Confluence, the table automatically fits to the web page, making the columns very thin and long. I want to have it so that I can have the columns as wide as I need, creating a table that will let you scroll left to right. Is there a way to do this?

You can do this with HTML Wrap macro.

Either wrap your table inside horizontal scroll container or create full table using HTML macro for better control on column size.

HTML macro are disabled by default in new confluence make sure you enable it first.

Moreover there are many Advance Table Macro plug-ins for confluence than you can also use.
