I am using the Excel plug-in (Atlassian companion app) in Confluence to import files into my Confluence page. The problem I am facing is that the formatting of the Excel file is not conserved: this includes colors, bold characters, line breaks, and highlighted words. Do you have a solution that would allow me to preserve the formatting of my files after importing them into a Confluence page? Thank you in advance for your feedback."
Hi @Djib Jal ,
We can suggest searching the Atlassian Marketplace for apps that allow you to work with spreadsheets directly in Confluence without switching between different tools.
As an Atlassian vendor, we can suggest trying our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app that has a whole spreadsheet family among its macros.
You'll be able to import your existing data in .xlsx (with formulas) and .csv formats or start working from the scratch with all main Excel-like features: cell formulas, filtration, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
You'll be also able to reuse your spreadsheets across Confluence and turn your manually created and macro generated (such as Jira Issues, Page Properties Report, etc.) tables into live spreadsheets for further manipulations.
Hi @Djib Jal
We are one of the marketplace partners which provides Excel-like solution in the Confluence ecosystem.
You might want to consider Excel-like Tables For Confluence, which allows you to import your .xlsx files directly into Confluence page without losing any features—this includes charts, formulas, and all the formatting you’ve worked hard to create. Our plugin offers an embedded spreadsheet experience, making it easier to manage your spreadsheet directly within your Confluence page.
We’re continuously working to introduce more features to our plugin, and we'd love to hear your thoughts if you decide to give it a try!
