How to handle/prevent deprecated content in Confluence?

I would like to know if you use any specific strategies or tips to keep a substantial amount of content up to date.

Hi @Janni ,

We make a free addon, called Keep it up to date!  This lets you add a macro to a page which shows outdated content.  It's quite simple to use.

For your use case it offers these features:

* It will detect expired pages * expiration can be because of not being edited for N days
* expiration can occur on a given date (which can be specified for each page or even for a page tree)

* It will notify those who could/should update it
* If they don't update, it can help to archive it and that way clean up your content and improved its overall quality
