Gautam Ghosh December 17, 2021

Hello ,

I need to edit and remove some posts for confluence.  Can you please let me know the process.

Found  some posts mentioning about edit button below questions / answers,  but did not find the   buttons under my postings.

Please assist.

Thanks

Gautam

I am sorry, but this is not clear to me.

Are you asking about "posts" in Confluence?  Pages or blogs that you want to hide/archive/delete?  Or are you asking about posts here in the Community?

Hello Nic ,

I am referring to post in Community .

Thanks

Gautam

Ah, ok.  You can edit your own posts by clicking on the options ... menu on the right hand side of the name and date line on your post.

Standard users can't remove or delete posts, but moderators and leaders can move them to a place where they'll be hidden for a while and eventually deleted (a bit like a waste bin - they are left there for a while in case someone changes their mind, or someone is not sure they should have removed it)

As a leader, I can do that, although there's a bug in Khoros at the moment that prevents me removing some parts of questions or discussions.  Looking at this conversation here, I can move the whole thing, but I might not be able to remove the comment where you answered my clarification question!

If you want us to remove any postings, please let us know here, and I'll (try to) do the "remove" thing.
