How to change who can grant access to a restricted page?

Katie Cullen February 25, 2020

My organization manages a restricted access page on our Confluence and I continue to get grant access requests.  I'd like these requests to go to 2 team members instead as they'd be able to approve them faster than I can.  I've set their permissions to "View and Edit" and the team members are the last ones to edit the page.  How can I make sure that access requests go to them?

If I understand your problem correctly, the person to grant access to a page needs space admin permissions.  So, having only view and edit permissions for your 2 team members would not be enough.

However it might make more sense to make a new group (e.g. "restricted-page-access"), and give all group members access to this restricted page.  then you can add new group members as you wish and delegate this also to other Confluence admins.
