I'm sorry to say that the Popular Content rating functions, (such as the Like function), only works for users who are logged into the application, so it isn't possible to let anonymous users to use the Popular Content functions. However, you might find that the Confluence Rate macro, (provided by Adaptavist), allows anonymous users to provide feedback on content that you can then analyse without requiring the users to be logged into the instance.
