Hello, I recently started at a new company and every time I go to a confluence favorites saved in my browser's bookmarks/favorites, I go to my Confluence Home Page first. This happens numerous times during the day. I could live with once a day. I was a consultant previously and have worked with confluence at other companies and have never seen this "Home Page." Is this new? Is this a setting the company can turn off?
Can I turn off the home page so when I go a direct link it takes me there?
Thank you for getting back to me! Hopefully this is a bit more clear.
Steps:
Navigate to a direct confluence link I saved in my bookmarks
Expected from past companies I have worked at:
Be directed to the confluence page I need
Actual:
Go to the home page
Have to click the url again to get to where I want to go
I have seen this when the company is using a proxy and it is not setup properly. I am also assuming that this only takes place after you have not been on the site for sometime and your account is reauthenticating. Even though you have a session cookie that authenticates you, so you do not have to type in your password, you do not have a current session with the server. So in the process of the authentication it looses the redirect to take you to the page you are looking for. This also used to be an issue with the app refined theme, I am not sure if that is still the case. Since you are on server I would report the issue to the admin so they can look into it further and see if they can rectify the issue. If it is refined theme then they still might have it as an outstanding bug and you will just have to wait for it to be fixed.

I do not quite understand your question.
There is a personal starting page (site homepage) when you go to your companies confluence.
Or you can set a space homepage like this
When this isn't what you mean, can you explain it again please?
Regards, Dominic
