I've searched through the forums for an up-to-date response to this question, but have come up empty-handed. As an admin, how do I change a user's username? I've navigated to the user's profile and clicked Edit Details, but the username field isn't showing as editable. Any ideas?

What Confluence version are you using? The username can only be changed in Confluence 5.3 or later. If you use a version before 5.3, you have to follow the guidelines in the second link Boris posted above.

After clicking Administer User, the username is not editable (1st screenshot). Also, if I click Edit Details, the username is still not editable (2nd screenshot)
