We want to use Confluence to host product documentation/release notes for product releases. We already use Confluence internally for information sharing and collaboration. The internal instance is accessible only by Windows active directory users.
Can a specific space/page within be used for public facing information? Similar to a Website. Such that it is searchable by users on google.com.
Any pointers/help on how to do that?
What special privileges/permissions are required?
Hi Tejas,
within Confluence you have to permit anonymous access to your Confluence space. Change that in the space's permission scheme. That's it. But be careful to not release more data to public than you wanted to.
Then, of course you have to make your Confluence server reachable from the internet.
