How can I set an external link, which includes curly braces?

Manuela Slaby August 11, 2017

Hi,

when I want to go to a document, containered in our DMS, I have to use a link, which includes curly braces.
Has anyone of you an idea, how I can put such a link into a site on Confluence?

If I choose the normal way, Confluence doesn´t recognize, that this is a link and you can´t use it...

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Best regards,
Manuela

Well, the correct answer is that your DMS is broken as it should not have {} in its urls.  They're explicitly listed as "unsafe" and not to be used in correct urls.

You can escape them of course, and that will make Confluence accept it as a url - replace { with %7B and } with %7D
