The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
I have changed Confluence based URL to a new URL and renewed its certificate, I also updated the database to replace old URL with new URL.
Majority of users have links pointing to the old server (https://spc.am.local ) which is not secure. How can I let users get redirected to the new URL(https://spc.am.com.au) when they click on old URL ?
I have added ALIAS CNAME but I do not think this was enough.
Thank you for your help
Hi @Mark El Khoury ,
welcome to the Atlassian community!
You should be able to do that on reverse proxy (Apache, NGINIX). It is not a configuration that you need to put within Confluence.
Apache : https://linuxize.com/post/redirect-http-to-https-in-apache/
Hope this helps,
Fabio
