How can I prevent confluence from adjusting restrictions on it's own?

Debra Garces August 21, 2017

Created new pages and once they become complete we remove the restrictions for all to view however, they seem to be setting back to restricted at least once a day. Have a specific agent that cannot open it at all. They requested access and the email says it has been granted and nothing. Had the agent log out, refresh, even granted editing access and this agent still cannot view the page. How can this be corrected? Any suggestions?

Hi Debra,

maybe you have set another view restriction on a parent page? Child pages inherit view restrictions from parent pages.

Did you look at the restricted pages list of the space admin section? Maybe this list gives you a clue, why your agent can't view the page.
