How can I insert reference to page title within a text box?

Dave Blaine August 6, 2015

I'm editing a page that represents a meeting. There's a panel at top of page with a space for "meeting title." Normally people just type in text. But I've noticed that the title of the page is invariably the same as the "meeting title." So I want to insert a macro to fetch the page title and insert it into the text.

At least on the server version, you could do this easily with a user macro.  Just insert a user macro with the following information:

$content.title

Note: if you want everybody to see it, just leave it as "Visible to all users in the Macro Browser".

Then just insert it as you would any other macro in the box where you normally type the title.
