How can I get URL working in sidebar?

Joel Järvela August 21, 2023

I am trying to configure Confluence space sidebar of a Space in Space Tools > Look and Feel > Sidebar, header and Footer.

I have entered following: [(on)*Engineering KPI reports*|https://xyz.sharepoint.com/sites/Name/SitePages/Name-KPI's.aspx]

However, this is just showing the plain text in sidebar.

However, following link works like a charm: [(on)*KPI Entry sheets*|https://xyz.sharepoint.com/sites/Engineering/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?csf=1&web=1&e=Uyc8kM&FolderCTID=0x012000A3B6C08CE60A4F43BF87A87BCC841172&id=%2Fsites%2Fsth%2FShared%20Documents%2FKPIs%2Fsth%2FDataEntry&viewid=b896aa39%2Dfeb9%2D4a44%2Daf99%2D404358bd5d45]

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Joel Järvela,

It looks like the apostrophe in Name-KPI's breaks the link. You'll need to update the page URL.

You can still add this link with the apostrophe in the space shortcuts (go to Space tools > Configure sidebar) though.

Thanks Kseniia!
