Finding the HTML used to render as PDF

How do you actually grab a copy of the temp HTML that Confluence apparently uses to generate a PDF?

In the Notes section here it lists a path to use to find the intermediate HTML file on the server, however it doesn't exist. I would kindly ask you to follow the steps under Exporting Confluence Pages and Spaces to HTML.
