Can downloaded files from Confluence have their file system creation date set to the same creation date shown in the attachments macro widget? I find it quite difficult to recognize potential changes in large files sitting on a hard drive vs their Confluence sources since everytime a file is downloaded, the file creation date becomes the date the file was downloaded.
Thanks,

I have the same problem.
I need the files with the same dates as they were at the time i attache them.
The date that goes on to a file download is chosen by the operating system, as it's the date the file was created or updated on the local machine.

I have no access to the server hosting bitbucket, where files are git pushed. But when browsing bitbucket projects, I can see last file modification dates in the source section for each file. When downloading, I get today's date for all files.
How can I get last modification date of files as shown on the webpage?

Why is zip changing file dates for download?
How can we preserve file last modification dates?
