Export a space from a local Confluence instance to an instance on Cloud

apoorvakiyawat September 25, 2014

Hello,

We need to transfer a Confluence space from our cloud instance to another cloud instance of another company. So I took a backup of the entire confluence from our cloud instance. I then installed confluence locally on my PC (evaluation copy) and imported from that backup file. Now I want to delete the unwanted stuff from the space and then export it again so that we can give it to another company so they can import it in to their own separate cloud instance of confluence. However, I am now not able see the option to export / import but I could see it before when I imported from my cloud backup. I am aware that the existing admin user gets replaced by the cloud one and I am able to login as admin with the new cloud user.

Thanks,

Apoorva

You might be a system-admin, but use your system-admin rights to check that you are also a space-admin for that space...
