One of the reasons for your message is that their might be an issue with confluence.cfg.xml file. And you may need to restore it to a previous state. I would suggest to raise a support ticket with Atlassian for specific steps or issue fix.

I tried to restore confluence.cfg.xml but post that its asking again to setup free trail or setup existing database details.
Please suggest what to do in this case.

/var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/confluence.cfg.xml/var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/shared-home/confluence.cfg.xml
I found these two location has confluence.cfg.xml file which one is right to restore and from which location.
