ERROR: called with no current PropertyPanel +The given range isn't in document.

AustinS January 25, 2018

Im developing a customized macro and found these errors during testing.

 Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Insert macro
  2. save it
  3. edit it and chose "cancel"
  4. delete it from page
  5. trying add a new same macro w/ different params on the same position
  6. no macro be inserted

Monitor in console, see errors:

  • The node to be replaced has been already deleted from the document ;
  • PropertyPanel.destroy: called with no current PropertyPanel, returning;
  • The given range isn't in document

Using TinyMCE and Confluence version is 6.3.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found it is bug from TinyMCE version 3, which is used in Confluence 6.3.1 and it has been fixed in new version. (https://www.tinymce.com/docs/changelog/#version456-march302017 )

But it has been fixed in version 4 and this version will be used in Confluence 6.6 (https://developer.atlassian.com/server/confluence/preparing-for-confluence-6-6/).
