It's not clear how drafts work in Confluence.
When you create a new page and make changes to it, a draft is created, which is displayed in the user profile, when you open it, unpublished changes are visible.
When editing an existing page, drafts do not work. In the user profile, in the Recenty worked on section, you can see that the page that the user edited has unpublished changes. When you start editing such a page, changes appear for a second and disappear, that is, editing is not draft, but the last published page.
