Hi,
I accidentally deleted the demo space, but I'd like to have that content as a reference for my users. None of us have ever used Confluence before. Is there a way to get it back? Can I download it somewhere?
Thanks,
Emanuel
I figured it out, there is a copy of the demo space in the Confluence installation.
I imported this file with the backup & restore tool (general config > backup & restore > Upload a site or space export file)
<confluence installation path>\confluence\WEB-INF\classes\com\atlassian\confluence\setup\demo-site.zip
This page helped me figure it out https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-do-i-update-my-demonstration-space-331914443.html
Hi @emanuel dieter ,
You can restore a page within a space, but you can't restore deleted spaces.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Luckily for me Confluence has a backup of the demo space in the installed files, I was able to restore it with that.
