Custom post-login page?

Tom Haynes February 5, 2014

Is there a plugin that will let me insert a page in between the login page and the page that my users are trying to access?

I want to insert a message of the day, and I want a whole page for it, so customizing the HTML on all pages [1] won't work.

The user experience should be:

1. User types username and password to access Confluence
2. They see my page, which has text and a big image.
3. They click a button or link to get redirected to the page they want (homepage or deep link).

Thanks for any advice!

You can also just change the target page from the login page to your "interim" page by changing the value of the os_destination parameter of the form. I've written about this before: search for "os_destination" and you should find info about how to do this.

Hi Tom,

Instead of redirecting to another page, you can use CSS overlay method. The overlay div can have your text and image and closing the overlay can bring the user to the homepage. There are lots of CSS overlay tutorial out there and here is one of them.
